The Breakfast Club has a new home as the nationally-syndicated morning show will now air on BET and VH1 as part of a new partnership deal with iHeartRadio.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club will be coming to BET starting on April 17 with a condensed, one-hour edition of the radio show airing daily at 9 a.m. ET.

“BET has been the home of so many cultural institutions, like Rap City and 106 & Park, that have shaped a generation,” said Charlamagne Tha God in a statement.
“Those shows laid the foundation for The Breakfast Club to stand on and grow into the cultural institution that we have become. We look forward to carrying on the tradition.”
DJ Envy added: “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to showcase The Breakfast Club on BET. I love what the new BET is doing!”
Charlamagne and Envy have held down the radio show since Angela Yee’s departure earlier this month, while various personalities such as Jess Hilarious, Jason Lee and Luenell have filled in as guest co-hosts.
The Breakfast Club‘s move to BET marks a return to daytime programming for the Paramount Global cable network as the radio show will be the first daily program since 2014 when 106 & Park was still on the air.
Meanwhile, Paramount is rumored to be exploring a sale of BET, and a few moguls have thrown their hats in the ring, including Diddy, Tyler Perry and Byron Allen.
As Variety reported earlier in March, the Bad Boy boss is “exploring the opportunity to purchase BET as a part of his strategy to build a Black-owned global media powerhouse.”

“Media is the most powerful industry in the world but it’s the industry where we have the least amount of ownership, influence and control!” Puff wrote on Twitter after news of his interest broke.
“It’s time for @BET to be Black-owned again so we have the power to tell our own stories, control our own narrative! This is not about me it’s about WE!!!!”
