For all those who will be in the New York area on July 23rd at twelve noon, make sure you visit Bryant Park for a free concert by one of hip-hop’s youngest stars. Bow Wow will be performing a free benefit concert to raise community awareness for the non-profit organization of Computers For Youth (CFY). The CFY works tirelessly to provide in home computers to inner city children who otherwise would not be able to have one.
The concert will be produced by HBO, with a financial donation being made by Bow Wow to the organization. “I don’t take for granted all the blessings that I have, and as soon as I heard about Computers for Youth I really wanted to be involved. Anyone who knows me knows how much time I spend on computers. I’m a computer addict. Every young person deserves to have a computer in his or her home”, Bow Wow said. “It’s cool that CFY will also make sure that they learn how to use them. I can’t wait to be on that stage performing and at the same time supporting Computers for Youth”. To date CFY has delivered over 3,000 computers to students and teachers. Bow Wow’s new album “Unleashed” will be in stores nationwide August 19th.
