Bow Wow Aiming To Be Next King Of Late Night Television

Bow Wow a.k.a. Shad Moss has been comfortably making his living weekdays on CBS for his role as Brody Nelson on CSI: Cyber. But the longtime thespian as bigger aspirations to rock the Nielsen rating system.

Moss, 28, recently took to his Instagram page to reveal that he had plans to host his own late talk show like so many stars before him.

“First time people saw me was on Arsenio Hall show,” he said, harkening on his 1993 TV debut when he was only six-years-old. “So its only right i go back to where it started.first let me thank him by paving the way because i wouldn’t have did what I’m about to do. I been quietly working on a project that i felt was needed. When i hosted 106 i knew then i could do whatever (talent wise) but i did not own 106 i had little control and i gots to be the man because im a creator. So when i cant be creative well… But i learned so much to the point i will have my own late night show coming. I get to run my own show content etc… We will have the best producers and show runners in the game! Wont be like ANYTHING ON TV. Its going to be a show YOU HAVE TO WATCH. Music will play an important key to the show. I felt i HAD to do this. Theres no platform for hip hop artist no more. Where can they go to promote on tv other than revolt (they still growing) thats crazy 1 outlet?!! Music videos became less important.”

To say Bow Wow is comfortable in front of the camera would be nothing short of an understatement. Not only has he be creating music videos since he was a kid, he has appeared in a baker’s dozen amount of motion pictures and enjoyed a reoccurring role on HBO’s hit Entourage, among others. If all goes according to plan, his new show will trump every rival show’s guest list save for maybe Ellen DeGeneres.

“College kids and high school students have nothing at 10pm to really look forward to,” he continued. “Where my guest could be Kendrick lamar w j cole performing live. To having Michelle Obama on. I found my stride. I want to help the culture and this is my way of giving back to the game that made me! Get ready i’m going through set designs now. REMEMBER I NEVER WANTED TO BE THE BEST RAPPER, but the GREATEST MULTI ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME FOR MY ERA. Ps.. I WANT MY FIRST GUEST TO BE NONE OTHER THAN LAKER LEGEND KOBE BRYANT! i want to kixk the show off w him.”

    1. Never in a million years lol. Who wants to make a little wager? I bet his show won’t even last no less than a season.

    2. “his new show will trump every rival show’s guest list save for maybe Ellen DeGeneres” – so he’s going to have bigger guests than Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O Brien, etc.? Doubtful. Especially since it seems he only wants high profile black celebrities, kind of limiting his audience, no?

    3. I think he’ll do alright, tell CBS to let em host the late late show for a week and test it out

    4. This would be live!! We need this cause he’s right there’s nobody promoting or supporting mainstream hip hop anymore bet turned they back on us a long time ago and that bet jams shit cool but yo average nigga ain’t got premium cable lol

    5.
