The Boss Yo Life Up Gang recently announced an August 13 release date for their new album, Bo$$ Yo Life Up Gang, Vol. 1. Supported by Young Jeezy’s CTE World record label, the BYLUG album will be a follow-up to Jeezy’s own 2012 mixtape, It’s Tha World, as well as the first official CTE action for Compton, California rapper YG and Detroit, Michigan group DoughBoyz CashOut. The group’s debut effort will be completed by contributions from DJ Mustard, Memphis, Tennessee’s Yo Gotti, and Houston, Texas’ Jefe.
The compilation will be presented by frequent collaborators Don Cannon & DJ Drama, who are both from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After Cannon’s Aphiliates departure, the pair reunites, a call-back to the Gangsta Grillz days.
The tracklisting for the mixtape has not yet been announced.
