He was recently called out by his openly gay daughter Poison Ivi for hypocrisy over his objections to her homosexuality.
Speaking on The Danza Project, she detailed her issues with her father: “He tells y’all he don’t want my girlfriend around but he don’t tell y’all that she be around. And when she around, he ain’t never gonna come at me and say, ‘Go take her home.’ He never once said that,” she said.

“I ain’t know there was a problem ’til he went on Caresha Please. We was just at your topless pool party and girls were eating each other out type shit! But I’m contamination?”
Poison Ivi was referencing recent comments made by Boosie Badazz on Yung Miami‘s Caresha Please show where he revealed that he prohibited his daughter from bringing her girlfriend to his home out of fear she would “contaminate” his other children.
“She still can’t bring her situation to our house […] because I don’t want it to contaminate her other six, seven sisters who look up to her,” he said.

“I want them to bring up these grandchildren the right way. If I want grandchildren the right way, that’s what I’ma stand on. If I don’t want my other lil’ girl to look at that and say, ‘What’s that, daddy?’ To somebody she looks up to? It’s not gonna come around my [house].”
He added: “My grandfather didn’t let it, my daddy didn’t let it and I didn’t let it. I just hope the one under me, when they this grown, they not gon’ let it ’cause that’s not what our family believes in.”
