Boosie Badazz has opened up about the hardships heâs currently facing as he battles diabetes.
âThis diabetes shit is hard. Iâve been fighting this sickness since 19 N still canât shake this shit !! Woke up sick af yâall keep me n yall prayers,â Boosie wrote on his Instagram story.

Boosieâs diabetes has been tough on the rapper for years. The Baton Rouge rhymer was once forced to end a concert early in New York City due to not taking his medication, which he said was due to a miscommunication with his luggage during his travel.

While he went to New York, a bag housing his medication was sent to Philadelphia, meaning he was unable to get his insulin shot prior to performing. During the 2015 show, Boosie was seen vomiting on stage before rushing off.
âShit happens when you have diabetes but I feel good now,â he reportedly said at the time to TMZ.
Boosieâs ill state is the latest bout of bad luck to befall the âWipe Me Downâ rapper in recent weeks. Boosie closed out 2022 with a fender bender one day after Christmas, but luckily for the other driver who rear-ended him, he was in a forgiving mood due to the holiday.
âMuthafucka just hit me in the back, man,â Boosie Badazz explained. âHe ainât damage my shit, he just hit my shit. I let him ride, dawg â 9 to 5 worker.â He then added that the driver of the other vehicle said he wouldnât have been able to afford any damage.

In better Boosie news, the 40-year-old rapper also closed out 2022 with a holiday giveaway in his hometown. While playing the role of Santa Claus, Boosie gave away gifts such as bikes and turkeys to feed families across his hometown.
