Big Sean‘s life-long love of Eminem and Lil Wayne gets put to the test in the latest episode of UPROXX’s Sound Check.

Hosted by Jeremy Hecht, the quickfire round show challenges guests to choose between two songs from some of their favorite artists, shedding light on their musical tastes and influences while uncovering never-before-heard stories from their personal lives and careers.

During his turn in the hot seat, Sean Don is forced to make some tough decisions involving classic hits from the likes of Common, E-40 and Michael Jackson.

However, the pressure really ramps up when he’s asked to pick a winner between Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” and Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” two of the most iconic songs from two of his biggest influences.

“It’s crazy the impact they both have had on me, how both of them have gone out of their way for me,” he says while deliberating on his decision. “8 Mile just inspired me crazy, but so did ‘A Milli,’ dawg. When he dropped ‘A Milli,’ it was unbelievable […] They’re both GOATs.”

The Detroit native also reflects on Weezy showing him love in his guest verse on “Deep” (“I feel like Sean don’t get enough shine / Is it because he ain’t got the tattoos? He ain’t throwin’ up signs?”).

“When he did that, I was like, ‘Bruh, you ain’t have to’ — he was rapping like I was one of his artists,” he says, still in disbelief.
