FUCK POP…ITS ABOUT REAL HIP HOP.

    10. Hip hop is spiraling out of control…Mixtapes getting pushed back? I don’t understand. It’s not even an album. I don’t know about this whole mixtape movement, it was hot years back, but peeps should just release straight up albums. I try hard to comprehend, but just can’t grasp the concept. I understand if the artist is unknown, and trying to pave a way for themselves, but well known dudes? And now mixtapes are getting pushed back? Someone shed some light on me please.

Hip Hop Circa catchy hooks/bling/abused by the machine

      1. This mixtape movement has to be seen in its own light. Its not some random, perverse obsession with mixtapes – theres a reason. In fact, there are multiple reasons.
        1. the music industry collapse — as the industry went off the deep end this last decade, rap went to shit, so in many ways this can be seen as a reaction. artists are going back to mixtapes as a way of making it about the artist again
        2. the internet — self releasing shit has gotten way easier b.c of the internet, so artists are using the more informal medium and releasing it straight to the public. and
        3. as always, mixtapes dont require sample clearance, as the goal isnt to make money, so the artist has more artistic freedom

      2. KRIT has an intelligent business plan. Dropping FREE albums is the quickest way to expose people to your music, gain a following, then making the money back on the back end on touring. Kendrick Lamar does the same thing. Its genius.

      3. yeah best answer is that he can use samples without clearance, he even said that himself when asked why he is doing it.

    11. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ):

    12. Yeah its worth the wait, but 4EvaNADay is the only album/mixtape that I am looking forward to in the forseable future. I am sure it is being pushed back so that Live From the Underground will be realsed early Summer late Spring. I understand the move, but I am about to die waiting.

    13. Looking forward to the album more than anything.

Krit is one of those cats that people gotta get behind, 2011 saw the emergence of some great talents. Now hopefully 2012 will see cats like K.R.I.T bringing some respect back to the mainstream.

    14. Its cool….probably just putting some final touches on it…..

    15. This is why he is the best thing to happen to the south and the music industry in a long time

When you have talent you dont need features

and all tracks arranged and produced by him

      Such talent

And he doesnt lie to his fans about selling drugs and being a gangsta his just himself

    16. Ye this is gonna be dope, I gotta say i ain’t bought a album in a long time (DON’T SUPPORT PHONEYS OR FRAUDS) but i will be supporting dude when the album drops and i hope everyone else does.

    17. ONE MORE DAY AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH OH THE TRACK LIST LOOKS LIKE A MIXTAPE/ALBUM MORE THAN JUST A MIXTAPE LIKE BIG KRITS LAST KING 2 WAS HOPE THIS TOPS RETURN OF 4EVA
