BIA has teased a new song that contains a sample of a classic Missy Elliott record over the weekend, and Timbaland gave her his blessings on the flip.

The “WHOLE LOTTA MONEY” rapper took to her Instagram on Sunday (March 12) with a post teasing a new record she has on the way. The song is a drill-tinged record that samples Missy Elliott’s 1999 classic “She’s a Bitch.”

In the video, BIA hit a few dance moves while also rapping along to some of the words of her forthcoming single.

“NONE OF MY HATERS ARE SLEEPING THIS PEACEFULLY LINK IN BIO,” BIA captioned her post.

Timbaland — who produced Missy’s “She’s a Bitch” — gave BIA his blessing by reposting her video on his own Instagram page.

“Timbo X @bia @skipondabeat,” the legendary producer captioned the post.

BIA’s new song will be titled “I’m That Bitch,” an ode to Missy’s 1999 single, and Timbaland is listed as a featured artist. This will be the second time BIA aligns herself with Missy after being featured on a song with her and Doechii on David Guetta’s “Trampoline” song last year.

“She’s a Bitch” was the debut single on Missy’s second studio album Da Real World, which was released in June 1999. Da Real World debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming Elliott’s second top-ten debut and stayed on the chart for a total of 39 weeks.

The music video, directed by Hype Williams, was one of the most expensive ever made. In 2017, Ski Mask The Slump God remixed the song for his own version called “Catch Me Outside” off his second mixtape You Will Regret.

Missy Elliott gave Ski Mask her blessings and co-signed the record on Twitter in 2017, explaining how her song has withstood the test of time.

“Oh he rode the heck out of this Fiyahthis my She’s a Bitch beat! Me & @Timbaland did this beat in 1999 & it still Bang! big up,” wrote Missy on Twitter.

One of the last times BIA teased a new record, some fans accused her of biting another rapper’s style. In February, BIA teased a record where she rapped over a bubbly drill beat that people believed sounded similar to Ice Spice.

The 31-year-old used the low-toned flow she’s used throughout her career on songs such as “Whole Lotta Money,” “Can’t Touch This” and “Cover Girl,” but that didn’t stop the Ice Spice comparisons.

“Bia trying to be Ice Spice son when she just came in the game,” one person tweeted, while another wrote: “Bia went from rapping like a foreign jaunt to ice spice lol.”

Someone else chimed in with: “It’s giving Ice Spice when it doesn’t have too. Bia needs to stick to her flows like the one on Bamba. She’s too talented to follow a fad.”

BIA also had many fans who came to her defense, claiming she’s been in the game longer than the “Munch” star and has used that flow numerous times.

“Y’all are weird,” one person wrote. “BIA been rapping like this before Ice spice even came to the scene. Ice spice been copying BIA.” Another tweeted: “i love ice spice to death. but Bia been in the game way longer then her.”
