The album — predominately produced by then soon-to-be-legends L.A. Reid and Babyface — instantly made Braxton a star; spawning Billboards hits from virtually the entire album and going on to sell more than 10 million copies worldwide.
Yonce also used the opportunity to recreate the single cover art for Toni’s classic “Another Sad Love Song.”
Breaking the internet isn’t anything new to megastar but the effect and execution of her Toni Braxton Halloween costume made everyone flip anyway.
And yes, Mrs. Birdman was floored by the tribute.

Reid and Babyface — instantly made Braxton a star;” The key word is “then,” meaning at that point in time in the past, the early 90’s, they were soon-to-be legends. The journalist did not say that they were current soon-to-be legends. See this is why they outlawed tarring and feathering people in the public square (as you suggested)–because morons like you would get the facts twisted and other morons would follow suit and before long an innocent man would be hung for some shit he never did.
