Benzino Goes Off On Joe Budden For Calling NBA YoungBoy ‘Trash’: ‘You Had 1 Song’

Benzino has criticized Joe Budden for taking aim at NBA YoungBoy and calling him “trash.”

The controversial podcast host has been vocal in his distaste for YoungBoy, recently saying: “That n-gga’s trash. He’s horrible. He is horrible. He is really, really, really, really, really bad. I don’t know him as a person; I’m only speaking about music.

“That thing happened with him where when he was out, the label pushed the button and did some YouTube shit, so then all the little kids had to come to the gathering and tell you about NBA YoungBoy’s views and how great he is.”

Now, Benzino has come to the defense of YoungBoy while firing back at Budden for his remarks.

In a video posted online, the former The Source head said: “You blogging ass bitches, y’all think y’all Oprah? Y’all motherfuckers don’t know more than everybody else. Y’all shit up there, y’all get a little check and y’all just talk shit about everybody and what they do.

“NBA YoungBoy got a whole generation loving his shit, alright? Obviously, you’re older than the generation that NBA YoungBoy’s music goes to. So just shut the fuck up, bro.

“Stop acting like you better than somebody. When you was putting out music, how would you feel if somebody said your shit was trash? Which it was. You had one song and that was it. You a decent rapper, but this n-gga is a whole superstar out here!”

Benzino also claimed that Budden is jealous of NBA YoungBoy’s success and the money he has made from music before issuing a more stern warning.

“That’s the problem with y’all n-ggas, man […] Talk about old n-gga shit, talk about Frank Sinatra,” he continued. “And not only that, you gonna get yourself in a whole bunch of shit that you ain’t prepared for. Better leave that n-gga alone, homie.”

NBA YoungBoy had earlier hit back Joe Budden in a fiery rant, saying: “The last thing I dropped was Decided 2 — my album’s still in the top 10, pussy ass n-gga! Don’t speak on me, I don’t play that shit. Don’t rat on me neither, you pussy bitch!

“You stupid dumb bitch, your dick don’t even get hard no more, clown ass n-gga! Ain’t no sabotaging me, bitch! Fuck wrong with that n-gga, man? Don’t rat on me, bitch.”

He added: “And I don’t want to argue with your bitch ass! Bitch, you do all them interviews — come on Grave Digger Mountain and talk to me n-gga. If you can’t do that, you’re bitch made, n-gga. Shut your fucking mouth!”

Birdman, who has mentored YoungBoy, also warned Budden: “You fukin with somethin you should leave alone.”

The former Slaughterhouse later responded to NBA YoungBoy by claiming he’s “way bigger” than the Baton Rouge rap star.

“Dawg, you young idiots get fooled by these label metrics and these digital tricks,” he said on an X Spaces discussion. “Would you like me to read you the numbers on YoungBoy’s last six projects? Alright. I mean, I don’t want to. I didn’t think I had to do this. ‘Cause I’m sure someone here is recording.

“2022, Never Broke Again, Quando Rondo LLC, 14,000 copies week one, Billboard position 62. Then you have Fed Baby’s, Moneybagg Yo, 2017, 21,000 week one. 3800 Degrees, October 7, 2022, 24,000. What else we got? Better Than You with DaBaby, March 4, 2022, 28,000. Until I Return, 2020, 29,000. Stop this, yo. Stop.

“January 6, 2023, 29,000. Here, we got another one. 2022, Ma’ I Got a Family, 39,000. We got another one here, September 6, Never Broke Again, 39,000. We got another one here, 2018, 43,000. We got another one, 43,000, 2018. We got another one here, 51,000, 2023.”

He added: “The point is, you doing a lot for somebody that don’t sell more than 60,000 records. Stop it. Enough of young people just saying stupid shit in Hip Hop. We get it, you like who you like, awesome. But it’s not this dominant force that you n-ggas keep tryna make it out to be.”

    1. Hip hop is the genre of hate, violence, jealousy, and negativity. Then people are mad at Jws because they profit from the negative energy that the “Culture” creates. Lol

      1. I met a critic, I made her shit her draws / she said she thought hip hop was only guns and alcohol / I said Oh Hell Naw! but yet it’s that too / You can’t discriminate because you done read a book or two

      2. Lol, Hip Hop is violence and negativity. Just look how many negative and violent articles this site posted the past 3 days. Lol

      3. But that don’t mean there’s also positivity. With the rap industry, yes people can get into arguments and start beefing. But there’s also positives like artists working together and making music fans love. Not to mention it helps the fans and what they’re dealing with. Like seriously, to jus say Hip Hop and Rap is jus violence and negativity is an overstatement.

    2. It’s like watching the Washington Generals argue over who’s the better basketball player. Just be happy any of you ever got paid to play.

    3. If Benbozo is in your side, your argument has reached the toilet. This dude and his weird ass Hollywood family can’t speak
