Benzino has slighted his daughter Coi Leray over her recent shocking revelation, all while doubling down on his defense of convicted sex offender R. Kelly.

The ex-Source EIC stopped by the Famous & Wealthy Podcast late last month to share the details.

“She [Coi Leray] said that she doesn’t want to have anything to do with me anymore because of the R. Kelly situation, because of the R. Kelly thing,” he said. “But then, about four months ago, she’s on the Math Hoffa show [and] he asked her, ‘hey, when did you lose your virginity?’ She said, at fourteen.”

After handing out more unsolicited information, he continued: “I didn’t know, right? So here you are, condemning me for saying what I’m saying, which is, grown folks conversation, which I never mentioned you. But how can you say that when you lost your virginity at 14? So is the guy you slept with, is he a pedophile too?”

Statutory rape is defined as sexual intercourse with anyone under the legal age of consent, and the minimum legal age of consent in all 50 states is 16.

Pedophilia is defined as a psychiatric disorder in which an adult (that is, anyone over the age of 18) has a sexual attraction to children (that is, anyone under the age of 18).

Last month, Coi Leray announced that she had cut ties with her father Benzino after he made several comments about R. Kelly‘s conviction for sex trafficking.

While far from the first time the father and daughter have fallen out publicly, Leray has made it clear that she no longer wants anything to do with Benzino.

She wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on May 1: “I want everybody to know I want nothing to do with anything my father has going on. I haven’t spoken to him in over a year and I don’t condone or respect any of them interviews he got going on.

“I don’t respect his decisions and I really want nothing to do with him please dont even think of me when you see him. Sharing the same DNA and blood DOESN’T make us FAMILY. Loyalty, boundaries, respect, teaching, guidance, love, patience, encouragement MAKES US FAMILY.

“Keep me away from people who try to ‘get their lick back’ please. And thank you.”

She concluded: “I can’t wait to have a kid one day. I can’t wait to look her/him in the eye and tell them how much I love them.”
