When a fan asked why he declined to meet Trump, Benny replied: “For 1 I’m not a politician I’m a rapper, for 2 people dumb as shit and won’t understand for 3 it’s not that important to me.”

Another fan claimed the Griselda rapper’s decision to not meet Trump was “pretty fuckin stupid” due to missing out an opportunity to “help his community.”

In response to that comment, someone else brought up Ice Cube’s decision to work with Trump’s campaign and the backlash he received.

“You mean like when @icecube went and tried to work a deal for black America and was dragged for it ?” they said.

Benny responded by simply writing: “Exactly.”

Benny The Butcher previously showed his support for Donald Trump by revealing he would vote for him as president in 2024.

“I’m votin Trump 2024,” he wrote on X in August.

“Well, this is what I’m gonna say about that,” he said. “Celebrities aren’t supposed to share their public opinion. And I learned that lesson that day. Their political opinion, I mean.”
