Benny The Butcher has heard all the chatter and jokes about how his rhymes aren’t for the ladies and he’s now decided to address the narrative.

On Wednesday (November 16), a woman threw a little bit of shade in the Buffalo rapper’s direction when she tweeted: “Why take me on a date if you’re in the mood to listen to Benny The Butcher on the way there? Call me when you calm down some.”

The Griselda rapper playfully clapped back by bringing up his smooth “Crowns For Kings” track, which was produced by the late DJ Shay and features a guest appearance from Black Thought. The record Benny believes women would enjoy landed on his 2019 The Plugs I Met project.

“So u tryna tell me Crowns For Kings don’t get the ladies in the mood,” he tweeted in reply.

Plenty of BSF fans flooded Benny’s replies and supported his theory that his music could be the backbone of a successful relationship.

“It’s like we watching a gangster movie together, except I know every word cuz I watch it everyday,” one person wrote, while another chimed in: “If she don’t listen to BSF, Griselda, or Drumwork Music or inclined to get put on to new music than what she’s accustomed to, it ain’t going to work boss lol, let’s cut our losses now Next !”

Whether it’s the men or women pressing play, the grind doesn’t stop for Benny The Butcher. The Buffalo native joined Harry Fraud and 38 Spesh alongside Ransom for “Band of Brothers” earlier in November.

The cinematic single is slated to land on Fraud and Spesh’s Beyond Belief joint album, which arrives on Friday (November 18).

Benny is still hard at work on his anticipated Def Jam debut album, and he’s setting the bar sky-high as far as expectations go.

“Imma have the best Hip Hop @defjam album since DMX ‘It’s Dark & Hell is Hot’,” he promised on Twitter last month.
