Beanie’s Legal Woes Continue

It has been a troublesome year for Beanie Sigel.

In the midst of turmoil with Roc-a-Fella Records, Beanie’s father was murdered. The tragic list of events only goes on from there.

He was locked up for some time before being acquitted of murder charges and faced another case for allegedly breaking someone’s eye socket during an altercation.

This year, he also spoke to XXL about feeling betrayed by old business partners and friends. Throughout all of this, rumors have spread about his future in the music business, but nothing has been finalized.

Beanie, also known as Dwight Grant went back to jail for a short stint yesterday.

The emcee was arrested because he failed to show up for court regarding unpaid child support. Consequently, he was jailed until the $26,000 back payment was payed.

Beans claimed he already paid what he owed, in cash, to the child’s mother. Unfortunately for him, he had no records to back these statements.

Siegel’s lawyers claimed the DA was being harsh on the rapper because he was acquitted earlier this year. The DA found these remarks “insulting.”

Beanie was released and is prepping his next album. The uncertainty as to what label will release it still remains.
