Bandman Kevo has demanded a $5 million payment from Gunna after the Atlanta rapper allegedly shelved a collaboration they had made together.

Kevo initially said back in February that he had paid Gunna $250,000 for a feature before he was arrested and later released in the YSL RICO case.

The self-proclaimed Finesse God admitted that he himself had gotten finessed and publicly demanded Gunna refund him the $250,000 for not delivering on the feature, threatening to take him to court if the money wasn’t returned.

“I paid gunna last year for a feature 250k And months later he got a caught case which put my feature and everything else got put on hold, just for him to get released and snitch[.] I can’t do a song with dude I need my bread back asap and if they cap im going big lawsuit,” Kevo wrote on Twitter at the time.

Now, it seems Bandman Kevo’s price has gone up. In an interview with Say Cheese! on Sunday (April 2), he said he wants $5 million from the Atlanta native as compensation for the abandoned feature.

He claimed Gunna’s team has been delaying signing off on the feature since the YSL rapper was freed late last year, and that ultimately the song was a bad investment.

“You got out and his managers still ain’t try to make it no better. They’re like, ‘Ah well, he just got home,'” Kev said. “Lady, it’s been over a year. You feel me? So it was like they were kinda careless with it. So I’m like, ‘Alright, well shit, you might as well run a bag back.'”

“So, you want a refund?” the interviewer asked.

“Really, I want more money because of all the time wasted over a year that was at that time type shit. I feel like I deserve some real M’s. Who knows where the song could have been before you messed your name up, like $5 million.

“Look, realistically before he got locked up, if I woulda dropped the song he woulda posted it and it woulda did what it did. The song, I was gonna make it go big.”

Kev went on to say that the reason the song didn’t come out right after it was completed was due to clearance delays, “lawyers” and “doing things the right way so everything gotta make sense.”

“I was just trying to make everything make sense first,” he explained. “I feel like it hurt my investment bad because…as soon as I invested, I feel like that’s when he was at his peak. Now if you woulda got out and did the right thing, he woulda been bigger.

“So that was another part of waiting like alright when he get out, him and Thug get out and go crazy it gonna be the biggest thing in the world. So with that being said, it’s like ‘damn’ type shit.”

Bandman Kevo had additionally accused Gunna of being a snitch as a result of the Alford plea deal that he made to get out of jail, but fans quickly trolled Kev for these comments and claimed the Chicago rapper was singing a different tune just a few months ago in a separate interview with Say Cheese!

“A plea agreement is nothing. That don’t mean you snitched. He could possibly snitch, but he could possibly finesse. For instance, I take a plea agreement but I’m willing to testify,” he said at the time. “I could get up there and cap. I could get up there and say, ‘I was scared. I don’t know what y’all talking about. I just wanted to get out.’”

Kev continued: “I don’t think he’s a snitch because he just took a plea agreement… We would only know if he’s a snitch depending [on] what he will get on the stand and say. And we have to let Thug get out.”

Gunna (real name Sergio Kitchens) was released from jail in December after pleading guilty to a sole racketeering conspiracy charge.

He was sentenced to five years with one year served due to the time he spent behind bars after being arrested last May as part of the sweeping indictment against YSL, which prosecutors allege is a “criminal street gang.”

The DS4Ever rapper has faced an onslaught of snitching allegations since pleading out, but has insisted from day one that he didn’t snitch on anyone.
