Independent filmmakers, brothers Timothy and Matthew Cooper join J. Lyn in readying the release of Paused In Time: The Documentary. The trio of Baltimore residents used a mini-HD camera and a tight, independent budget to be one of the first to ever capture the long-existing Hip Hop scene in southern Maryland.
The film has been selected to screen at the New Filmmakers Film Festival on September 1 in New York City. The film looks at the city’s Hip Hop scene emerging out of the longstanding Baltimore Club Music scene, while also paying respects to gangsta rappers and the venues where both worlds came together.
Bossman, Elle_S, Comp, Heavy Gold and Jade Fox are among those interviewed. A trailer can be viewed below.
