B.o.B Headlines Concert For President Obama

After opening for Jay-Z and Eminem for their Home & Home concert series, B.o.B has been selected as the featured performer at President Obama’s Gen44 Summit Kick Off Concert. The performance will take place at the DAR Constitution Hall on September 30 in Washington, DC. The concert is part of a summit originated by the Democratic National Committee, which they describe as “a three-day gathering of the next generation of leaders.”

“I’m performing for Obama for a function that he’s having…bringing out a band and everything,” B.o.B told Angela Yee. “It’s basically a concert for the President of the United States…I actually didn’t say anything or speak to anybody about it, because I didn’t believe it at first.”

A full agenda, possibly featuring other performers will be announced shortly. Summit packages and individual Kick Off Concert tickets are available via the official Gen44 Web site.

    1. Much respect to B.O.B. He’s doin it big now, and his music is great. I don’t know if this is just me, but shouldn’t Obama be doing more important things than having a concert? Likeeee maybe saving the world? haha I don’t know, just a thought.
