Azealia Banks has once again come under serious scrutiny, this time for comments she made about D.C. Young Fly and the recent death of his girlfriend Jacky Oh.
Wild N’Out star Jacky Oh (real name Jacklyn Smith) passed away at the age of 32 on May 31. TMZ reported she was in Miami getting a “mommy makeover” before her unexpected death.
Jacky first met D.C. Young Fly in 2015 when he was on Wild N’Out for the first time, and the pair went on to have three children together: daughters Nova and Nala, and son Prince.
Azealia Banks, who notably became upset on live TV after Young Fly roasted her during a segment on Wild N’Out in 2018, addressed Jacky Oh’s passing on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday (June 7) and appeared to celebrate her death as payback for her partner’s insults.
“Damn DC Young Fly spent years disguising his own deeply rooted hatred of self as joke’s pointed at women’s beauty, projecting his own ugliness unto women perfectly secure in their own skin,” she wrote. “Say what you want about my tears. They were pure tears of rage and not at all a sign of weakness.”
She continued: “Because in the end… I won. I’m happy I cried and moved on. That Jackie o girl must have been so deeply insecure about herself. And the nerve of DC to call such a gorgeous woman as Azealia Banks ugly on National television while a bunch of Black people laughed.
“And ironically, Dead at 32 exactly on my 32nd birthday May 31st, 2023, in Miami FL. You n-ggas are going to learn to stop fucking with me.”
The backlash against Banks was swift, with one person calling her an “ugly bitter ass human being” and saying they “hope she burns in hell.”
Another added: “This is the same woman who dug up her dead cat and started cooking it. She’s beyond saving, just a sick woman,” while another simply called Banks’ comments “vile.”
“I’m so disgusted at what Azealia Banks said about Jacky’s passing,” wrote another emphatic user. “YOU TOOK IT PERSONAL THAT DC clowned you on Wild N Out when you knew what that show was about !! This lady has no soul and is very sad ! God don’t play about his children HE NEVER DID !! My love and prayers still goes out to DC and his family !”
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons previously reported that a “mommy makeover” often consists of multiple procedures, including a breast augmentation, lift, or reduction; a tummy tuck; a butt augmentation; liposuction; and an arm or a thigh lift.
“Mommy makeovers” are often done by mothers after pregnancies to get the “snap back” look, but can also be done by post-menopausal women who put on weight due to hormone fluctuations.
“A mommy makeover can radically change how your body looks, giving you more energy, vitality and self-esteem. It is also a surgical procedure that requires an investment of time for recovery. Patients with the happiest outcomes are the ones who plan accordingly,” the ASPS writes. “The best way to ensure a great result is to give your body the time and energy that it needs to heal properly.”
While deaths like Jacky Oh’s are rare, Kanye West‘s mother, Dr. Donda West, passed away after complications due to a cosmetic procedure back in 2007.

But is she wrong though? Jacky oh was fine af! Why go under the knife? He should’ve stepped up and encouraged her to not do it. He’s supposedly her mate. So obviously he has eyes for her. Unless he stated that she needed to reup. If she was happy being with him, then there would be no reason to go under the procedure. Banks just calling a spade a spade.

Are you serious? Of course she’s wrong. She’s celebrating the death of someone because their boyfriend made a joke about her. So according to her logic, God killed Jackyoh because DC cracked a joke on her 5 YEARS AGO. How do you take someone’s death and make it all about you. Then try to say she was getting the surgery for DC. Most women who get cosmetic surgery, do so because of social media and other women. Anybody that is a fan of DC knows he show love to all the big women at his shows. Azealia is a prime example of an insecure woman, she’s bitter, spiteful, and immature.
