Azealia Banks has announced the release date for her debut EP 1991.
The “212” rapstress is slated to drop the offering on April 17th. Though a tracklist is yet to be confirmed, Banks most recently released her Diplo-produced “Fuck Up the Fun.” Rumored cuts to make the EP include her breakout hit “212,” “Liquorice” and “NEEDSUMLUV.”
Banks is expected to release her debut album later this year.

She’s a breath of fresh air. Music today has lost it’s way, especially rap music. What stands out about this girl is that she is not afraid to be herself. Other rap artists, particularly female rappers are too busy trying to be something that they are not and are only concerned with fitting in. Although her attitude may need some work, I think she will go far. Even if she doesn’t reach mainstream success, she’s still a winner in my book.
