    1. steve horowitz reminds me of the nephew from casino who deniro fired because he was anincompetent idiot. he didnt give a fuck who his uncle was.

steve’s uncle needs to called asap yall taking alot of hits this year and its not fair on the rest of you. say no to nepotism hhdx.

      1. hahaha yea but the only difference between asher and mac is that asher speaks straight from the heart and your always ganna out sell people if u can make a hit that ever one can relate to ….. so mac just makes lots of releases and has a growing fan base. my boy ash will out sell him first week!

    2. Pabst and Jazz! I hope it comes out November . I can’t believe he signed to Def Jam though, should have went to Rhymesayers and had creative control for his album. Now Def Jam will demand some radio pop garbage, don’t ruin his album Def Jam.

    3. Asher Roth is dope. I agree with what mac said about where he went wrong. He isn’t on that college frat boy party all the time shit he is on some change the world shit. But his best known song isnt a good representation of him so people make assumptions. He is lyrically better then mac listen too Rick Smits. He has arguably been the least successful xxl freshmen of 09.

    4. I bet this years xxl freshmen list is gonna include Tyler the Creator, Asap Rocky, Kreayshawn (although she hasn’t been keeping that white girl mobb buzz alive since Gucci Gucci dropped), Casey Veggies, Dom Kennedy, random rapper I haven’t heard about. Who on this site knows about a rapper named Death Grips?, At first I thought his music was wack but if you look at the lyrics hes saying he goes hard as fuck. Plus he is probably one of the most original artist of this decade.

      1. Death Grips is tight, they’re a group and one of the guys(Zach Hill) is from a rock band call Hella. They’re pretty dope too.

    5. Man its sad to see that def jam (a label that sold out a long time ago)now owns loud records. Loud records used to own shit so much so wu tang clan, mobb deep, mop where all over MTV then came the new millennium…………
