A$AP Rocky has revealed that the name of his and Rihanna’s newborn baby boy will be divulged in the near future.

TMZcaught up with the Harlem native on Wednesday night (August 23) while leaving a West Hollywood restaurant and in addition to admiring his flashy outfit, asked him about disclosing the baby’s name.

While the Mob frontman stopped short letting the real name slip, Rocky — who appeared to be in a very good mood — teased that it should be revealed very soon.

“Thank you, brother,” he said before being asked about the baby’s name. “Coming soon.”

Rihanna gave birth to baby boy number two on August 3 in Los Angeles and has revealed that his name will also start with an “R” like older brother RZA.

Being named after legendary Hip Hop artists runs in the family, as Rocky previously revealed he was named after the rapper Rakim.

His namesake was later asked how he felt about the baby’s name, and the Wu-Tang leader called it a “great honor.”

“[It’s a] great honor to know that there’s another generation that’s not even of my own household that feels the strength and the inspiration of that name,” RZA said. “RZA is only a name, it’s a title. So it’s an honor and I salute her and A$AP and their family. All the blessings in the world from me.”

Rihanna first revealed her pregnancy in February after sporting a substantial bump when she performed at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show.

Talking to British Vogue for her cover story earlier this year, Rihanna opened up about her experiences with early motherhood.

“Oh my God, it’s legendary,” she said of her first nine months as a mother. “It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever.”
