A$AP Rocky Shares Release Date For Long-Awaited New Album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’

A$AP Rocky hasn’t released a new album in over six years, but he is finally all set to drop fresh material later this summer.

On Friday (June 21), the New York City native made his debut at Paris Fashion Week by unveiling his “American Sabotage” collection at the Hôtel de Maisons.

As the 35-year-old’s AWGE models exhibited his latest designs and arrangements on the walkway, three unreleased tracks by him played filled the air and added more glow to his latest endeavor.

These tracks will most likely be on the rapper’s next album, Don’t Be Dumb, considering those same words were stamped on several flags outside the venue as well as on the clothing being displayed inside.

Soon after the event concluded, a pre-save link for the project went live online that reveals the new bundle of songs will arrive on August 30.

Right before the show, the “Goldie” hitmaker took a moment to explain the inspiration behind his latest collection.

“America in itself has a lot of historical values,” he told Hypebeast. “I’m putting light on my American story, my American horror story, my American story, my American sabotage.”

He went on to share that observing people of different ethnicities, cultures and backgrounds inspired his latest work, as he added: “I pull inspirations from all of that…refugees, incarcerations, mass incarcerations. I’ve been subject to all those things. I’m very familiar with all those things and for me this is just me sharing my ghetto expression.”

While not much else is known about the upcoming LP, the rapper has previously claimed that it contains some of his best and most experimental work.

Last year, he told DAZED: “I’ve been really experimenting as usual and what I like about this is it feels like my best work yet. I want to leave expectations wide and open. I don’t want to tell you what to expect. I just want people to experience it how they do naturally.”

He has also dropped a number of songs over the last year, including “Same Problems?” and the Pharrell-produced “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n).” As of now, it isn’t clear if they will make the cut.

    1. Another trash album from the Whoopi Goldberg look alike tryin to make the audience believe he can rap. Just stick to what you do the best: wearing dresses at fashion weeks and getting your nails done for the Met Gala.

    2. “As the 35 year-old” This dumb fuktard Karenn the pathetic Indlan immigrant vulture Sing and this retarded DunceC@pD/X shit staff always puts the person’s age in their pointless posts like it’s some valuable info. Hey Karenn the ultra cringe Sing their age ISN’T relevant at all and you don’t sound smarter referring to the person as “the 35 year old”, “the 57 year old” etc. Smh. Nothing but a bunch of Cr@ckerJack box junk journ@lists who don’t know shlt except how to be cringy and corny af. GO GET A REAL FCKING J0B, 1 WHERE U CAN ACTUALLY MAKE REAL MONEY AND NOT GET LAUGHED AT EVERYDAY THE WAY U DO NOW. WALMART IS HIRING SCRUB GO BAG SOME GROCERIES

    3. This will be clearly the Album of the yeah. Whoever says the opposite is an absolute dimwit. He has already shown his potential of that Future/Metro Booming Collab last month.

      1. You speak from experience, right? Don’t hang out in dark alleys so much, it will keep your mouth clean

        A$AP

      2. Funny that you don’t even deny that shit LMFAO. Say hi Rihanna on my behalf once you’ve finished cleaning Rocky’s genitals.

      3. no point in responding to low-educated pricks. You‘re obviously a Swiftie with a negative ass, can’t be mad at someone for that. Have a great sunday and remember contraception (if your plumber‘s wage allows it)

      4. Don’t be mad boo-boo. Don’t need to hide your gayness with some mean and harsh comments. It’s 2024. The LGBTQ+ community is here to defend your rights if needed to. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings like that. You can love and fuck whoever you want. Rocky should be glad and proud to have some inamorato like you. Toodeloo!

    4. More confirmation 20v1 was all for album rollouts for the last generation of washed up rappers struggling to stay relevant.

    5. Today is June 22nd and I’m sure that between now and August 30th there will be some reason that comes up that this album won’t see the light of day, because it’s Hip-Hop. Carry on!!!

    6. finally the date of this album. but as always they will delay it and it will arrive in september
