Alicia Keys doesn’t care about the people who don’t believe husband Swizz Beatz‘s claims that they’ve never had an argument in their entire relationship.
In an interview with US Magazine last month, Swizzy explained that because their communication is so on point, things have never escalated beyond a disagreement.
“Marriage is definitely a big word, but look at it like your best friend,” he said. “The communication is there. We’ve never had an argument. Since we’ve been together, our kids [have] never seen it; never seen us raise our voice [or] never seen us yell. Never seen us curse at each other. Why? Because of communication.”
Noting that of course they “disagree on things,” he added: “When you yell at each other, no one is really listening anyway. Nothing gets solved in each other’s yelling.”

This led to a lot of chatter on social media, with many people calling cap on Swizzy’s statement. TMZ caught up with Alicia this week in NYC, however, and asked her about the doubters.
“I have no idea what anyone is talking about,” she said with a huge smile. “Me and my baby is on fire.”
In his interview, Swizz Beatz elaborated further on their dynamic.

“People think they can own people. You can’t. It’s not property that you own. There’s a whole human, right? So, we’re very clear on that. She’s her own boss. I’m my own boss. That’s how we make magic when we come together. I think that helps because people start getting very territorial and making their partner property, and I think that’s the biggest mistake.”
A huge fan of his partner, Swizz crowned his wife the “female Dr. Dre” while sharing an unreleased track she produced for Meek Mill back in November.
A clip shared by Swizz brings fans into the undated studio session, where Alicia can be seen playing piano and making the beat as Meek records some bars.
“Lost files @meekmill produced by @aliciakeys ! Can’t lie AK produce like any heavy producer 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨 Female @drdre to be exact !!!!!!” Swizz captioned the post. “Let’s get back to the pain and passion ….. should this song drop? The finished version is crazy.”
