“Kind of, almost something like this,” he began. “I do agree my expectations about you were driven strictly from my optimistic view of you, hoping your grimy ways would dissipate with age or the current state of affairs that will eventually expose that you were on the payroll and secretly part of the shenanigans. Undo the puzzle.”

After the media caught hold of his post and proceeded to connect it to the recent sexual assault allegations Cassie made about Diddy, the “Nite and Day” singer took to Instagram on Sunday (November 19) to clarify his previous post — although he still didn’t name Diddy or anybody else specifically.

“I posted a story this morning about someone close to me that I trusted like family, come to find out I walk with their flag daily & they were grimy on many levels while I went down and was hospitalized and they’ve [been] questionably riding the fence throughout the entire attempts on my existence,” Al B. Sure wrote.

“So to update your blogs and fictional narratives FYI: I don’t comment, speak on nor concern myself with court cases, the ensuing results or another man or woman’s business thats not my own, no matter how closely associated my artistic posts may reflect real life.”

Al B. Sure and Diddy have a long history that dates back to the early ’90s when the Bad Boy mogul started dating the singer’s ex-wife Kim Porter. The model — who passed away in 2018 — and Al. B Sure had one child together named Quincy Brown, who Puffy would go on to formally adopt.

Porter would have three more kids with Diddy. However, when she tragically passed away, Al B. Sure implied foul play was involved and questioned whether she was murdered.

“I do know very clearly that #Kimberly didn’t just check out all of a sudden over neumonía. That’s some bull shit,” he wrote in an IG post shortly after her death.

“Really? This is where I get in trouble. We just celebrated our son @Quincy’s new deal and Christmas special with @Netflix, and she was in fantastic health as well laughing seeing me and @Diddy’s mutual exchange at the theater. I’m going to leave it here.”

As for the drama surrounding Diddy and Cassie, the “Me & You” singer filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy last week. Her complaint included shocking allegations such as Diddy beating her “multiple times a year,” plying her with “copious amounts” of drugs and forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed and masturbated to the encounters.

The singer also claimed that towards the end of their relationship in 2018, the 54-year-old record executive forced his way into her apartment and raped her while she “repeatedly said ‘no’ and tried to push him away.”

Puff was also alleged to have orchestrated a plan to blow up Kid Cudi‘s car in 2012 after he discovered that Cassie was dating the rapper. A rep for Cudi confirmed to The New York Times that one of his cars exploded in his driveway.

Less than 24 hours later, Cassie and Diddy amicably resolved the lawsuit on Friday (November 17).

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) said in a statement (via the New York Post). “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
