Akademiks has inserted himself in the middle of the beef between GloRilla and Kai Cenat — and he’s on Kai’s side.
The Hip Hop commentator woke up and chose violence on Sunday (October 29) when he took to his Twitter at 8:40 a.m. ET to blast the “Nut Quick” rapper for allegedly believing that Cenat was in jail.

“Glorilla is a F*cking Idiot.. She really think Kaicenat is locked up,” he wrote in his first tweet. “Her label must have humbled her stupid ass in realizing… Bih.. u aint bigger than the program.. and Kaicenat is valued way more than u. She tried to cop a plea to him but tried to diss me in the process. LMAO.”
In the second tweet, which came 20 minutes later, he wrote: “Glorilla is officially a GOOFY.. she said her and Kaicenat beef is some street shit lol.. This CHick is literally delusional…. Yo Gotti. deactivate her twitter. @GloTheofficial ur a f*cking moron. LMAO. u have street beef with KAICENAT?”

The rant continued with a series of tweets that touched on a variety of topics including (again) how “goofy” GloRilla is; an implication that she had bad plastic surgery; that she “fell off once Sexyy Red took [her] whole lane“; and a claim that his girlfriend looked better than she did.

GloRilla and Kai have been going back and forth since the famous streamer gave a bad review to Glo’s song with Fivio Foreign. She blocked him (or so he believed) for the criticism. Then on Saturday (October 28), she tweeted: “I’m drunk af rn I might f-ck around & unblock Kai,” confirming that she had indeed blocked him in the first place. Kai responded to the peace offering by saying: “You made your bed, you better stay there!”
This was the feud Akademiks jumped into the middle of on Sunday. His “really locked up” comment refers to the fact that Cenat is currently in the middle of a multi-day livestream from a fake prison — a stunt that has featured guests like NLE Choppa and Druski.
Just last month, SZA blocked Cenat after he took Offset’s advice on shooting his shot. The former Migos rapper appeared on the NYC native’s Twitch stream in early September, during which he coached Cenat on how to go about his crush on the TDE singer.
After shaking his head at Kai’s initial idea — messaging SZA “Hello, how you doing? Dat ass was fat in the last music video” — Offset suggested he slide into her Instagram DMs in a more cool and cryptic fashion.

“That ain’t playa, that ain’t P. You gotta ease your way [in], man,” Set said. “‘I got an idea’… that’s what you say. That’s just to get the little bite. ‘I got an idea’ — it’s simple.”
He cautioned: “But then, see, when you do that, you get the reply? You gotta have an idea.”

While Offset’s suggestion left Kai Cenat screaming at the top of his lungs with excitement, SZA had a very different reaction to his cocky slide-in. In a follow-up stream over the weekend, he was left picking his jaw up off the floor after discovering that the SOS hitmaker had blocked him on Instagram.
“I can’t send any more messages, bro,” he said despondently after spending several moments in shock. “On God! I can’t send any more messages, bro!”
