Akademiks has denied allegations of rape after being accused by ex-girlfriend Ziya Abashae of sexually assaulting her with two friends.
Abashae made the claims on Instagram Live on December 30, where she said: “You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me. Whether or not you got drunk or not, I know that when you woke up, you were on top of me too. You raped me too.”

She also claimed that a rape kit had been conducted following the alleged incident. Akademiks had earlier said that his ex had engaged in an orgy with his friends and that it was consensual.
The controversial podcaster hit back at the claims during a Rumble stream, a segment of which was posted to YouTube on Tuesday (January 2).

In the lengthy video, Akademiks says: “This situation went to the cops over a year and a half ago. Me and my lawyer were openly cooperative because [when it comes to] serious allegations — I don’t care who’s involved — I don’t want weird shit happening around me.
“We helped the police. ‘Whatever you need! You want a phone? You want passcodes? Let’s decrypt our DVR.’ There is nothing they did not see.
He added: “You know what the result of that investigation was? It was officially ruled by the D.A. and the police that there was nothing there. There ain’t no charges, there won’t be no charges and there’s documentation to say, ‘We looked at everything — everybody’s clear.’ Not only for me; for everybody involved.”
Akademiks also found time to take aim at a few enemies, mainly Freddie Gibbs and Meek Mill.
“There’s been numerous individuals who probably felt certain way about me over the years. Maybe their career wasn’t doing that good. They had to do some bunny-hopping for billionaires, had to sell their houses, they got dropped from their label. They might have thought that I was one of the reasons why their situation went down,” he said, referencing his past issues with Meek.
Throwing thinly-veiled shots at Gangsta Gibbs, he continued: “Maybe I clowned them about them getting beat up twice, getting jumped, ran out of a muthafucking BBQ spot. Your baby momma getting piped out while your baby’s in her gut on camera, maybe on a Fan Bus. Maybe I was gonna put up a $10,000 to name your kid.”
“These are the people you’re going to see the loudest in trying to spread lies against me,” he added.

Gibbs had previously taunted the media personality over the allegations by tweeting: “@Akademiks quiet as a church mouse today happy new year U rapist ass bitch. Hoe ass n-gga I’mma come to court and slap U.”
