Action Bronson has been a little quiet on the music front lately, but he’s now offered fans an update on a new album, emphatically proclaiming his return.

The rapper and media personality took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday (February 21) to announce a new project.

“FINISHING UP NEW ALBUM. *JOHAN SEBASTIAN BACHLAVA THE DOCTOR* ITS HARD TO NOT RAP WHEN I WAS BLESSED WITH THE ART. IM BACK. AGAIN AND AGAIN.”

Check out Bronsoliño’s post below:

Fans were thrilled by the news, with many sharing their excitement in the comments section of the rapper’s post. “Yessir. Been waiting on this shit!” one person wrote, while another added: “It’s what the people need.”

Action Bronson has been teasing the follow-up to 2022’s Cocodrillo Turbofor a little while now. Back in November, the artist shared a video of him jamming on a keyboard, joined by a saxophone player and a drummer who can be heard from off-camera.

Bronson captioned the post: “BIG BAKURABA IS COMING TO TOWN. GRAMMY TIME. JOHAN SEBASTIAN BAKLAVA THE DOCTOR.”

Considering this is the second post in which the Fuck That’s Delicious host has mentioned “JOHAN SEBASTIAN BAKLAVA THE DOCTOR,” it’s possible that it is the album title.

The last time fans heard from the “Baby Blue” rapper was in late 2023, when he recalled walking into an NYC gym and recognizing seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger as he was one of the only people there.

“It’s only me and there’s two guys there, and this guy on the fucking chest press,” he remembered. “And I just see this hair — it’s like this color that I know, it’s this red. Who has that color hair? This guy’s not fucking from Queens, he’s not a Pakistani guy from Queens with the dyed red hair.”

He continued: “So I look over and it’s fucking Arnold [Schwarzenegger] and his big fucking big Russian bodyguard or whatever they’re speaking […] So they were speaking some Germanic shit and, y’know, we’re all just working. I just didn’t even say a fucking word to him.”

When the chef-turned-rapper began deadlifting, the Terminator star apparently acknowledged him with a succinct, “That’s impressive weight,” and proceeded to walk out.

The actor isn’t the only person who’s been impressed by Bam Bam Baklava lately. Late last year, Drake tapped Action Bronson, as one of the faces of OVO’s NFL Winter ‘23 collection.

Posting one of Bronson’s photos to his Instagram story, Drizzy captioned it: “One of my favorite people in life.”
