The comedian and Dipset rapper, Katt Williams was
caught Monday night at the Los Angeles International Airport carrying a
concealed weapon. Police told the ever realiable TMZ that the arrest
occured at 3 P.M in Terminal 5. Williams was stopped at a security checkpoint.
Officers found the concealed and allegedly stolen weapon in his carry-on luggage. They also
found three additional weapons in luggage that Williams had already
checked in.
Williams, who is scheduled to host BET’s first ever
Hip-Hop Awards later this month, was booked on felony charges of
carrying a concealed weapon and several other offenses. As recently as last week, rapper Snoop Dogg
was booked on weapons charges at the Los Angeles airport.
Coincidentally, his HBO special was released today and his album under
the moniker, “Money Mike” is coming soon.
