A member of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s crew allegedly fired a shot inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday night (April 21), according to TMZ.
The publication reports the incident had nothing to do with 6ix9ine’s recently ignited rift with Adrien Broner — who was boxing Jessie Vargas on Saturday night — but is instead believed to relate to his long-standing beef with fellow Brooklyn rapper Casanova.
6ix9ine’s crew were reportedly walking down one of the hallways of the Barclays Center when they ran into Casanova and his entourage. The two crews are believed to have begun pushing and shoving one another when a member of 6ix9ine’s entourage allegedly fired a gunshot.
TMZ — citing law enforcement sources — reports a .32 caliber shell casing was recovered after the incident, but was not processed as arena staff had already handled it.
While no one was hit by the alleged shot, both crews are said to have quickly dispersed, with Casanova and his entourage leaving the arena completely. It’s reported 6ix9ine and his crew stuck around and were later interviewed by investigators, though police didn’t find any guns.
Police reportedly believe the person who fired the alleged shot fled the scene. No arrests were made.
A short while later, 6ix9ine appeared to address the situation in a video uploaded to social media.
“Niggas started running and shit,” 6ix9ine said. “His whole squad hit the floor.”
The police are reportedly continuing their investigation into the shooting. They do, however, believe the incident was a continuation of a separate situation that happened between the two crews on Thursday (April 19).
Casanova was filming a music video in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn last week when at least 10 shots were fired at his crew, according to TMZ.
It’s reported two men were hit, but both are expected to make full recoveries.
A member of 6ix9ine’s crew is now under police investigation in connection to the shooting.
6ix9ine and Casanova later engaged in a back-and-forth on Instagram regarding the shooting.

Casanova is taking L after L here…i thought he was supposed to be an authentic street cat? Him and his beloved taxstone? Lol what happened?
this cat is embarrassing & perpetuating a gangster stereotype he saw in a movie. this simply would not fly in Chicago, for better or worse. I notice this little “boy” won’t even come to or comment on Chicago. NYC is Disneyland, and marshmallow soft. I know it hasn’t always been that way, but for the past 20 years (pretty much his entire life ) NYC has had one of the lowest crime rate of all American cities. LA & NYC combined had fewer shootings & homicides than Chicago by a LOT and this clueless child fake imposter would not appropriate gang culture the same way if there were Chi, Detroit, Baltimore level violence in their city. these cornballs are so clueless on how the rest of the world sees them. this guy is the mexican slim jesus. NYC & LA are some of the safest (& most expensive) cities in the country to live. give it a rest. holding a gun & getting a tattoo proves nothing. it’s embarrassing. there are more guns than people in this country and anyone can get ridiculous tattoo on their face.
Chicago is a feces infested hell hole
which movie was there a 18 year old rainbow haired gangster? i missed that one.

This 69 kid is a complete idiot. Sadly, his days on this earth may not be long.
No self respecting man goes on Instagram and talks shit about another man, in a video none the less. The internet age got people acting like straight up pussies.
pussy ass is tasty
