6ix9ine has filed a lawsuit against LA Fitness, where he was the recipient of a brutal beatdown at one of their Florida locations back in 2023.
TMZ obtained documents from the suit on Friday (January 17), revealing the “GUMMO” rapper is seeking over $1 million in damages for what he says was “failing to provide adequate security” to prevent the attack.
In his suit, 6ix9ine alleges the staff wasn’t “properly educated or informed” on security protocols and failed to call the police as soon as they were aware of what was happening.
The requested number is for pain and suffering that included both physical ailments and humiliation, medical expenses, loss of income and diminished quality of life.

6ix9ine was in a sauna at an LA Fitness in March 2023 when he was jumped by a group of men who left him “savagely” beaten.
The rapper’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, said his client tried to fight off the attackers, but was outnumbered and badly beaten before he managed to flee. He did not have security with him at the time.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene after gym staff heard the commotion, resulting in 6ix9ine being taken via ambulance to a local hospital.
Footage of attack posted on Instagram showed 6ix9ine lying on the floor protecting his head as two men stood over him and kicked and punched him.

“Bitch ass! Clown ass n-gga!” one of the men could be heard shouting while roughing up the rainbow-haired rapper. “Take a picture! I want to be famous now, n-gga!”
The video’s caption read: “King Shit we caught 6ix9ine slipping fuck a rat ADR not on our hood,” suggesting the attack was sparked by 6ix9ine’s history of snitching.
Shortly afterward, Rafael Medina Jr., 43; Octavious Medina, 23 and Anthony Maldonado, 25, were taken into custody in Palm Beach County, Florida. Jail records show that the trio was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on assault and robbery charges.
And the following day, the rainbow-haired rapper called his attackers “cowardly” in an Instagram post and remarked that he “never knew we respected jumping people. When did that ever become a W?”

But he was also quick to remark that he wasn’t “mad about being jumped” as there are “no rules” when it comes to the street life. “I can’t say they were wrong,” he said in his Instagram caption.
6ix9ine also claimed that he “never hid from anything,” and confirmed that he’d been walking around without security for the past two years.
“If you ever crossed my path or ever came to my house (you girls know who you are) ya can tell the world “Danny drives his own cars and be solo,” he wrote. “You know how many of you people seen me in real life by myself in gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.”
