50 Cent has evolved into a successful television mogul over the past several years, executive producing shows such as Power and ABC’s For Life.
But he also spends an ample amount of time in front of the camera, portraying the lead character Kanan in Power and Cassius Dawkins in For Life. Apparently, Snowfall actor De’Aundre Bonds finds this type of arrangement problematic — and 50 Cent has something to say about it.
On Sunday (April 4), Bonds — who plays Skully in the popular FX series — shared an Instagram video seemingly targeting people like 50 Cent. In the process, he gave a nod to Suge Knight’s infamous 1995 The Source Hip Hop Awards moment by hyping up his own show.
“If you don’t want the executive producers all in the movie scenes all on the TV screen trying to steal the shine from the actors,” Bonds said into the camera. “Come to Snowfall.”
50 Cent quickly took notice of the now-viral moment and fired off a response on Wednesday (April 7).
“Every now and then i get a hater [eyeball emoji],” he captioned a post of Bonds crying. “note to self, never give this n!66a a job. [three laughing emojis] Fuck outta here [stoplight emoji] Green Light Gang.”
In the comments, Fif suggested Bonds was dipping into some party favors on the set, adding, “Times must really be hard, old boy look like he on the shit for real.”
Fellow actor Michael Rainey Jr. chimed in, “We all know why he love snowfall so much.”
The former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight, who’s currently incarcerated, showed up to the 1995 The Source Hip Hop Awards in a spirited mood and casually threw a jab at Bad Boy Records founder Diddy without mentioning his name.
“Any artist out there that want to be an artist and stay a star, and don’t have to worry about the executive producer trying to be all in the videos, all on the record, dancing,” he said at the time. “Come to Death Row!”

How we know he talking about 50?
Hit dogs holla I guess
Everybody says that statement that suge says it’s just a famous statement, I guess some people feel that if It applies to them, they get offended. Even so Snowfall is the hottest show in the Hip/hop Genre at the moment, Power was a great show also especially the first 2-3 season. 50 doing his thing big time from a Producing standpoint. De’Aundre Bonds been out here for like 25 plus years doing his thing as a actor, he deserves his respect too, Get on the Bus, Sunset Park, The Wood he got some top notch joints on his belt. They’ll probably end up working together down the line
Snowfall is a better show in all aspects and far better than anything 5-0 ever put his name behind. Who remembers when Jay-Z only gave 5-0 half a bar.
Thought 50 can take a joke….truth hurts lol
