50 Cent has admitted he “hates” that he found huge success with STARZ in the world of television as his relationship with the premium network has soured.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday (April 13), the G-Unit boss gave himself a pat on the back as he claimed to have the one through four top shows for African-American and Latin households in the country, but clarified he’s not creating any spin-offs or new series with STARZ.

“I have the number 1,2,3, and 4 top Tv shows in African American, and Latina households and i hate that i did them with the wrong people,” he tweeted. “I’m not doing any BMF spin offs or selling any other shows to STARZ.”

Plenty of fans flooded his replies explaining they’d follow his shows to whatever platform they end up on and one pleaded with 50 to launch his own film/TV network.
“50 bro with what you have in the bag it’s truly time you own a network and studios to film your ish,” a fan wrote. “Do some things that they really don’t expect true television ownership like TP!”

While Power Book II: Ghost returned to STARZ with Season 3’s record-breaking premiere last month, 50 is now a member of the FOX family.
50 Cent signed with FOX in February for future TV/film endeavors in partnership with his G-Unit Film & Television production company after his deal with STARZ expired in September 2022.

“I am excited to formalize a partnership with Michael Thorn and FOX that will allow G-Unit Film & Television to focus on putting multiple series on FOX, a perfect broadcast destination for G-Unit Film & Television content while our premium, streaming, scripted and non-scripted slates continue to grow in all directions,” 50 said in a statement.
For his latest Hollywood move, 50 is executive producing a new animated comic book series called Lady Dangerous, which is set to star Nicki Minaj.
Based on the Dark Horse comic book series of the same name, the Amazon Freevee show is set in 2075 and follows a government field agent who’s left for dead by her team after discovering a dangerous secret, before being resurrected as Lady Danger.
Deadline reported that Nicki Minaj is also executive producing the series alongside 50, Brian Sher, Paul Young and Mike Griffin. Alex de Campi wrote the original comic book series, with Carlton Jordan and Crystle Roberson adapting it for TV.

This isn’t the first time Minaj has secured an acting role, having previously voiced the character Pinky in The Angry Birds Movie 2 in 2019.
She also appeared in 2012’s The Other Woman, 2014’s Ice Age: Continental Drift, and 2016’s Barbershop: The Next Cut.
