50 Cent, Chuck D Tapped For “Dream School” Season 2

50 Cent and Chuck D are among the instructors of Season 2 of SundanceTV’s Dream School, according to Variety

The two rappers will also executive produce the series, which “introduces troubled teens to mentors who are professional musicians, journalists, filmmakers, scientists, athletes, and actors, in order to inspire them to turn their lives around after the traditional education system has failed them,” Variety says.

Each of the teenagers on the show have dropped out of school.

The six-episode second season of Dream School is slated to premier fall 2014.

“Season One of Dream School explored the real life struggles that young people face today and how an outside-the-box approach can result in true transformation and a chance to start over,” Sarah Barnett, SundanceTV President, said during an interview with Variety. “Our audience responded strongly to the powerful drama and inspiration of last season and we think they will find this season every bit as engaging.”

50 Cent also appeared on the first season of the program, which aired last year. A clip from his appearance is as follows:
