50 Cent, Cardi B and Jim Jones are among the New York City natives who have reacted to the Big Apple’s hazardous pollution conditions, which top the worst around the globe.

Officials in NYC have warned citizens to limit outdoor activities and wear a mask if heading outside. The city’s public schools have already canceled classes for Friday (June 9) as well.

“I’m headed to the store, if anybody need anything just call me. LOL this shit is crazy right now NY,” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram next to a photo from Blade Runner 2049, while Cardi B tweeted: “I kid you not the sky is literally yellow today …It’s giving smoking on opps.”

Jim Jones stepped outside as “Weavahman Jim” to give his latest weather report, and he made it clear he’s had enough of the unpredictable climate conditions and just wants his normal New York summer back.

“Enough is fucking enough. We really need to know who the fuck is in charge out here. What is going on?” the Dipset rapper asked in an Instagram video.

“It’s June, I still could wear a Pelle tonight… Now the shit is yellow outside and my n-ggas in the Heights uptown might think Jesus is smoking hookah ’cause it’s so foggy.

He added: “Who gon’ tell me where summer at? … Right now, this shit is not making sense. We definitely at the end of the Bible… Somebody tell God this not the club; stop smoking hookah up there.”

Some flights were delayed out of LaGuardia Airport due to low visibility as New York Gov. Kathy Hochul called the poor air quality a “national crisis.” The thick haze is reportedly expected to remain an issue for New Yorkers into the weekend.

The New York Yankees canceled their Wednesday night (June 7) game against the Chicago White Sox in The Bronx and are slated to play a double header on Thursday, but it remains to be seen if the first pitch will be thrown.
