Benzino has hit back at 50 Cent after the G-Unit boss posted a video of him appearing to be on the verge of suicide.
On Wednesday (December 18), 50 shared a clip on Instagram of the former Source magazine publisher sobbing on the floor and telling his girlfriend to “call the police” as he holds a knife in his hand.

50 captioned the distressing footage: “Benzino caught on video, by his girlfriend Ashley Bell threatening to unalive him self with a knife because she called the cops for him allegedly beating her.”
‘Zino was quick to address the viral video, claiming that it had been taken out of context.
“First and foremost, I just want to let everybody know I’m okay,” he said. “Second of all, I want to let everybody know that was a rehearsal for a Tubi movie. My girl was helping me out. We was doing a script reading and that was a rehearsal for a Tubi movie.
“That was the scene from the movie. I would never ever put my hands on any woman. I’ve never done that in my life. That’s for cowards and I surely wouldn’t do anything to hurt myself.”

He then directly addressed 50 Cent: “I also want to let Curtis know, thanks Curtis for promoting me. Keep on posting me, that’s dope. I’m in the gym heavy, benching 315. What you doing, Curtis?”
Benzino added in his caption: “Be on the lookout for me staring in 2 movies for 2025 ‘Bloodline 2’ from @bloodlinemoviemiami and ‘It’s Morning’ by @geecheeone Thanks Curtis @50cent.”
Benzino has previously claimed that he could beat 50 Cent in a boxing match.
“Being big don’t mean nothing in boxing, history has shown us that,” he said on the We in Miami podcast. “50’s been shot in the face before so that counts. He had to get reconstructive surgery; he’s not gonna be able to take any old punch in his face.”
He added: “If we were to box in a boxing match and I were to train for a couple months, hell yeah I could box 50. I’m gonna pick me every time.”
Benzino had also challenged longtime rival Eminem, as well as Joe Budden, to bouts in the ring.

He said: “Me and Eminem, it would be crazy. Put us on the undercard of Jake Paul and Mike Tyson […] I’ll knock Eminem out, 30 seconds into the round. I would demolish him. I would beat the shit out of Eminem in a boxing match. There’s no question about it.”
