21 Savage is back ‘home’ as he prepares for his first-ever headlining shows in London and the rapper is taking full advantage of his time overseas.

Earlier this week, footage surfaced of 21 whipping some motorcycles while filming an upcoming music video in South London’s Brixton district. It’s unclear what song Savage is shooting the visual to but he’s got a biker gang riding around Brixton with him.

It’s the Slaughtergang honcho’s first time back in London in over two decades. However, fans had fun with the idea of seeing 21 struggling to drive his bike overseas.

“They can[‘t] even own guns what you gonna shoot yall ain’t got no guns hahaha,” one person wrote on Akademiks’ repost of the clip, while another added: “Stay there bra rappers so fake anything for views n clout n to stay relevant wanted a visa but want to shoot a music video there but haven’t been there since a teen you say.”

21 Savage is gearing up to hit the 02 Arena stage in London for his first headlining performance back home which is slated for Thursday night (November 30).

Last month, Savage officially became a permanent United States resident, allowing him to travel freely outside the country again.

He made his first trip outside the U.S. north of the border to join Drake and close out the It’s All A Blur Tour in the 6 God’s hometown of Toronto. 21 previously didn’t appear on any of the other Canadian dates on the trek.

Billboardalso reported that 21 Savage is currently planning to do an entire international tour.

Savage ran into legal trouble surrounding his citizenship when he was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in February 2019. They claimed he traveled from the U.K. to the U.S. in 2005 but his visa expired in 2006, although he remained in the country.

The agency claimed at the time: “[Savage] initially entered the U.S. legally in July 2005, but subsequently failed to depart under the terms of his nonimmigrant visa and he became unlawfully present in the U.S. when his visa expired in July 2006.

“In addition to being in violation of federal immigration law, Mr. Abraham-Joseph was convicted on felony drug charges in October 2014 in Fulton County, Georgia.”

A resolution of those immigration charges was delayed, Savage’s team said (via TMZ), because of a criminal case related to the original ICE stop, involving controlled substance and weapons charges.

But DeKalb County, Ga. authorities told Billboard that those charges had been dropped, which seems to have cleared the way for the immigration issue to be settled.
