Rising Filipina rapper SHNTI is set to celebrate the release of her debut EP ELMNT with a Halloween-themed costume party this October 30 at the Gravity Arts Space in Quezon City.
Joining her on the lineup are fellow LIAB Studios labelmates Waiian, Yorko, and Calix. Both Waiian and Yorko are featured artists on ELMNT while Calix mixed and mastered the EP. Filipino artists kiyo and Rjay Ty also join the lineup, while RuiijiKun and Jia The Menace are set to perform DJ sets during the event.
In our exclusive interview with SHNTI, she shared that she wanted to release an EP first before a full-length record. “I didn’t want to make it an album [first], because I believe that an album needs a solid theme.” She promised that ELMNT is a departure from her phone-recorded demos; instead more complex and experimental.
