Filipino rapper CK YG puts his own spin on Ne-Yo’s 2006 hit single, “So Sick,” with “SO SICK OF SAD SONGS.”

CK YG’s rap reimagining borrows the beat from and interpolates some of the original track’s lyrics in the hook. In a Facebook post promoting the song, CK YG shared that if the music video gains a hundred thousand views in a week, he will release another track immediately.

He also apologized to those who felt that the two-minute song was too short and promised that “this is just the start.”
