Cambodian hip hop phenomenon VannDa premiered the latest music video for “C.O.D.A” (Culture Of Devoted Aspiration) off his 2022 album, SKULL 2 (SEASON 1).

The visual spliced together footage from his ASEAN Music Showcase Festival performance in Singapore last month where he shared the stage with fellow Cambodian and Baramey artists, Sophia Kao, Vanthan, and Daniel Omens. According to the video, the trip was sponsored by local telecommunications company, Cellcard.

At the start of the music video, he shares how his collaboration on the Cellcard “Time To Rise” SIM card (named after his 2021 breakthrough single “Time To Rise” featuring Master Kong Nay—one of HipHopDX Asia’s Best Music Videos of 2021”) allowed him to listen to music on the go while in different countries. In the video, he says, “I knew it was time for Cambodia to RISE to another level.”

The music video was shot by frequent collaborator Jeremiah Overman, with the track featuring background vocals from Sophia Kao.
