The “President” of Malaysian hip hop Joe Flizzow also secured a win for Best R&B/Hip Hop track with “CIAO” featuring MK and Jay Park. This is the rapper’s second win in the category since “Apa Khabar” (How Are You) featuring SonaOne in 2013.

Joe Flizzow was also recently featured in HipHopDX Asia’s documentary, Cipinang Prison: A Hip Hop Story together with fellow Malaysian and Indonesian MCs. The short film documenting an international hip hop festival held in Jakarta’s top maximum security prison was also screened live during Indonesia’s FLAVS Festival 2022 last weekend (September 10-11).

It was also a historic night for rap group ForceParkBois, who took home their first-ever award as a group for “Lotus”, which won Highest Streamed Song.
