Filipino-Nepalese singer Jason Dhakal makes his comeback after two years with “can’t get enough,” a groovy and sultry track dripping with desire.
This is the singer’s first musical official release since 2020’s lovesound. An intimate music video for “Body & Soul,” his collaborative track with Filipino producer LUSTBASS (who also produced the new single) off the 2020 album was released on Valentine’s Day last year. “Body & Soul” made it to our list of “10 Hip Hop & R&B Songs Of Empowerment And Acceptance By LGBTQ+ Asian Artists” during Pride Month.
The artist has stayed relatively quiet on social media since the pandemic started, with his last posts online dating back to 2021. Fans were met with a pleasant surprise when he suddenly announced “can’t get enough” on August 12.
The track was released on all digital streaming platforms at midnight today (August 19). Jason Dhakal is also celebrating the track’s release with an invite-only event today at Boogie Manila in Poblacion, Makati City, promising “a few special friends” will be performing.
