Filipino rappers Palos and JMara are back with a gripping and gritty track and music video for “PADALE” (loosely translated to “Got Tricked”). The one-take music video is reminiscent of many Morobeats-produced music videos, also produced by label founder DJ Medmessiah, which highlight everyday life for the labor class in the Philippines, such as long lines of commute.
Palos and JMara are some of the more prominent artists of the Mindanao-based label. JMara was featured last June on HipHopDX Asia’s “Best Asian Hip Hop and R&B So Far” for the track “GAPOS” featuring labelmate ZAKI while both rappers were on our May edition of the same article for the track “Hunghang.”
