Indonesian rapper Rich Brian returns with “Lagoon,” the latest single off his Brightside EP. The music video premiered yesterday (June 28) via 88rising.

Written and produced by Rich Brian himself, the video features the artist getting introspective with different versions of himself as a performer, celebrity, and a young artist grappling with its pressures.

“I miss when the shit I was scared of was eating the seeds and the tree that would grow on my head / I ain’t seen the fam in a couple of months / It’s been 22 months that shit’s almost 2 years,” he performs on the track as he explores themes of isolation coupled with the pressure to succeed.
