Mrs M is officially a major label recording artist!
The pioneering superstar of Mongolian hip hop and R&B is the latest signee of Warner Music Asia’s regional label Asiatic Records, the first Mongolian artist who accomplished the feat.
Mrs M premiered her first release under the label: “Daughter of Khan,” a collaboration with US-based producer Harry Fraud, which was included in the label’s Asiatic.wav compilation project, along with other flagship artists such as Indonesian rap star RAMENGVRL.
“I’m so happy to join Warner Music and release my songs on Asiatic Records. Mongolia has always had a great hip hop scene. It’s a small country, but I believe our music can connect with a much wider audience. Although Genghis Khan lived over 800 years ago, we Mongolians still wear his legacy with pride and to this date, he is a national icon of inspiration and hope for us; hence we are all children of Khan,” Mrs M shared in a statement.

Released earlier this month, the first volume of Asiatic.wav also includes Thai indie superstar Phum Viphurit and Thomas Ng, Japanese rapper OZworld, and Thai-Trinidadian rapper/singer-songwriter Tsunari.
Described as one of the leading Mongolian artists of a new generation, the multilingual and multicultural Mrs M is known for her music which blends traditional Mongolian sounds with modern hip hop.
She launched her music career in 2017 with her breakout viral hit “Bang” and went on to release a string of successful local hits, including “Cash Cash,” “Goy Te,” and “Sugar Daddy.”
