Winners of the Philippines’ 7th Wish Music Awards have been announced!
The popular local radio station aims to “celebrate [Original Pinoy Music] OPM’s finest.” Originally scheduled on January 16, the organizers announced that the in-person event will no longer allow a live audience due to the new COVID-19 regulations at the time and instead will be recorded live and stream on their official Facebook and YouTube channels instead.

Yesterday (January 30), the final list of winners have been unveiled. Filipino boy group SB19 racked up the most wins in five major categories. The group previously garnered explosive attention from the global community for their hip hop-driven single “Bazinga,” which topped Billboard’s Hot Trending Charts, unseating K-pop superstars BTS. Member FELIP’s solo debut “Palayo” made our Best Songs of 2021list.
