HipHopDX Asia and Malaysian brand CROSSOVER have teamed up to release a capsule collection inspired by “PUBLIC ENEMY,” an upcoming single by Johor Bahru-based rap group FORCEPARKBOIS.
Designed by Kuala Lumpur-based 33.3 Studio, the collection consists of a hoodie, two short-sleeved tees, a long-sleeved tee, plus a limited-edition tee that comes in an exclusive vinyl-inspired packaging, with a poster signed by FORCEPARKBOIS. The collection is now available for preorder exclusively via CROSSOVER’s website.
“Supporting our local talents and watching this young generation enjoying their passion and living their dreams. Power to the youth as they are our future,” CROSSOVER owner Jem tells DX Asia. The sneakers and lifestyle store is also based in Johor Bahru, with stores in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur.
“CROSSOVER has been making waves for over a decade, and FORCEPARKBOIS are the hottest rap group in Malaysia right now, and they’re just getting started. When a member of FORCEPARKBOIS told me he used to work part-time at CROSSOVER, I felt I needed to help close that circle,” says Eddy Lim, Regional Director of HipHopDX Asia.

The music video for “PUBLIC ENEMY” will premiere on HipHopDX Asia’s YouTube channel on December 17 at 6PM Kuala Lumpur time. The track will be available on streaming platforms on the same day. Of the track, the rap group simply said, “If you don’t have enemies, you don’t have character.”
Directed by Shahrin Bahar (a fashion designer himself), the visual also features a cameo from top Malaysian radio personality Haniff Hamzah.
“We wanted to create a talk show a la [The Tonight Show Starring] Jimmy Fallon/[Late Show with] David Letterman to showcase the raw talent and persona of [FORCEPARKBOIS]. There’s 11 of them, therefore creating this concept allows us to portray each of their characters and personality,” he said.
