Lex visits the countryside for a much-needed respite “Without You,” the latest visual off his newly released album, LOGIC.
Directed by frequent collaborator MESS, the music video follows the Japanese rap star frolicking outdoors, basking under the sun, and having a picnic by the lake.
The visual accompanies a fun, bouncy Kevin Jacoutot-produced beat as he raps about finding peace and freedom in solitude, reassuring—mostly himself—that things will be alright.
“Without You” is Lex’s latest track from LOGIC, which he dropped in September. The track follows previously released singles, “GOLD” and “なんでも言っちゃって / Perfume” featuring JP THE WAVY, with the latter single making it to HipHopDX Asia’s top songs in August 2021.

The 15-track LOGIC includes features from Shark Kid, Young Coco, Saru jr.Fool, Kenayeboi, and Hezron.
LEX also released a 7-track collaboration album COSMO WORLD with Only U and Yung sticky wom back in August, including the single “STRANGER,” released with a CGI video helmed by acclaimed Japanese film director Minoru Murata.
