Filipino independent hip hop label LIAB Studios turns one! The young label is celebrating its first anniversary with a free online concert, ‘First Burn,’ on October 29 via Facebook Live.

The concert will feature performances from their signed artists SHNTI, Calix, Illicit, Yorko, Ruiijikun, and the studio’s CEO, Waiian. LIAB Studios was founded by Misha Salud and Makati-based rapper Waiian, currently boasting a roster of artists making waves in Filipino hip hop.

The show “aims to entertain hip-hop fans from the safety of their homes for the meantime till the day comes that it’s alright to have live gigs again,” their team writes in a press statement. The label also promises more artists from the lineup to be announced soon.

Over the weekend, Calix announced on social media that his latest—and first official—EP under LIAB would be out at the “end of the month (hopefully),” and revealed some of the artists who will be featured on the EP. This year has been busy for Calix so far, helming the production, mixing, and engineering of the advocacy album, Pasya, earlier this year.

Meanwhile, check out our episodes for LIAB artists on Behind Bars below:
