We rounded up the latest new releases this week so far, from Guapdad 4000 channeling seedy characters in “Scamboy” to VKL gearing for battle in “สังหาร.”

Check out the full list below.

Guapdad 4000 – “Scamboy”

There’s no escaping grifters in Guapdad 4000’s “Scamboy.” The Filipino-American rapper stars in the Chris Simmons-directed video as televangelist Falcon Lopez who won’t stop at anything in the name of easy money via his two-step process: finessin’ and scammin’—better known as “finnam.” The self-produced track is his latest solo single. He most recently joined Uce Lee and Jazze Pha for “Options.” Earlier this year, he dropped the deluxe version of his 2021 album, 1176.

VKL – “สังหาร”

Prolific Thai rapper VKL is gearing up for battle in the hard-hitting track, “สังหาร” (Kill). This is his fourth single in just a month, following last week’s “เขียว” (Green).

James Reid – “Hello”

Filipino pop-R&B artist James Reid tries to revel in isolation in his latest single, “Hello,” fake mustache and all. Gab Valenciano’s goofy visual shows Reid attempting to make the most out of the experience. On the inspiration behind the track, he wrote, “Having spent a lot of my time by myself during the quarantine, I’ve learned to dive into the depths of PERSONAL INTROSPECTION. It’s truly beautiful knowing and experiencing TRUE GROWTH—a growth that’s only birthed within. Our minds are infinite in so many ways, and learning how to tap into that is ULTIMATE FREEDOM. I’ve learned how to translate that to my everyday actions and now I’m 100% always driven to achieve MY GOALS so that the universe can be a BETTER PLACE ? ?.”

Thai rapper ZENTYARB of Yarb Crew releases latest drill cut, “RAP POR YUNG,” with long-time collaborators PUNYARB and WHOOP collective’s DAW. The Bankroll Baby-produced track is his latest single following the mellow “DERM DERM (เดิมเดิม).”

KAZE – “20日”

Japanese rapper KAZE returns with “20日” (20th), his follow-up to May’s “冤罪” (False Charges). The single touches on the miscarriage of justice, after a person is wrongfully convicted of a crime they did not commit. The music video was inspired by Ikeburro West Gate Park.
